Adolescent Psychology & Autism Treatment Training

Adolescence is a critical stage of rapid physical and mental development, marked by multiple growing pains. Globally, teenagers are particularly vulnerable to mental health issues. ASEEDER, in partnership with Rainbowpen, has exclusively designed the Adolescent Psychology & Autism Treatment Training program, focusing on the mental development of young people. The program, delivered by the Executive Director of Rainbowpen and certified instructors from the UCLA Department of Biobehavioral Sciences, focuses on common psychological disorders in adolescents, including depression, bipolar disorder, emotional disorders, trauma and stress, anxiety, and addictive behaviors. Through real case studies and multiple psychology practices, such as simulated counseling, arts therapy, and Sandplay Therapy, participants will explore the world of psychology in an engaging, hands-on way. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is the disease with the fastest-growing number of patients worldwide. ASD Children are often called “children from the stars” due to their unique clinical presentations. Participants will have the opportunity to visit a special children's institution in Shanghai and design a rehabilitation plan to support children with autism. Upon completion, participants will receive a program certificate issued by Rainbowpen. The best individuals may also obtain recommendation letters signed by their mentors.
