Macroeconomics is not only a universal language for explaining the world, but also the underlying logic for understanding the flow of global wealth. In an era marked by de-globalization trends and intensifying geopolitical competition, the ability to move beyond short-term micromarket fluctuations and grasp national-level economic decision-making frameworks and monetary policy transmission mechanisms has become an essential competency for future leaders in the social sciences and business seeking admission to top global universities. ASEEDER has partnered with SBI Private Equity (SBI PE) under SBI Group to develop an industry-education integrated research program. Moving beyond traditional business simulations that focus solely on K-line trading strategies, the program centers on macroeconomic analysis and global monetary policy research. Leveraging the company’s strong industry background, institutional macro-research methodologies are translated into an academic training system tailored for high school students, connecting textbook theory with real capital markets. The program covers the full framework from macroeconomic theory to central bank monetary policy, explores multiple economic models and real-world cases, and incorporates economic data models, providing step-by-step guidance on using authoritative databases such as FRED to conduct empirical analyses, including yield curve inversion studies, enabling students to think like economists. Combined with on-site corporate visits, participants will gain insight into how leading financial institutions design asset allocation strategies amid shifting macroeconomic conditions. Participants will act as junior macro analysts to make a macro strategic report. Upon completion, participants will receive a financial talent certificate issued by SBI PE and a Certificate in Careers and Experiencing Work Short Course accredited by UCAS. The best individuals may also obtain recommendation letters signed by their mentors to enhance their university applications.
