JIA RONG - FOUNDER AND HEAD OF LINKNGO, PROMOTING URBAN CONSTRUCTION CENTER

Jia Rong is a pioneer in urban renewal and innovation in China. As a cross-disciplinary curator and innovator in urban renewal, she introduced a new model of soft development for organic urban renewal through urban planning. From 2011 to 2017, she initiated and led the Dazhalan renewal plan and the Dazhalan Cross-Border Center, serving as the overall planner for the Dazhalan exhibition area during the Beijing International Design Week from 2011 to 2017. In 2018, she established CitylinX Design Cross-Border Urban Innovation Practice, continually driving social innovation practices and the development of diverse cross-border communities. In 2020, she initiated and led the establishment of the NGO organization LINKNGO, incubating the first project, "Desheng Urban Exploration Center," focusing on urban construction and innovative education, making it the first nationwide innovative education project centered around cities.
