Program Introduction
CanSat Satellite Design
Engineering is a key discipline that supports the development of modern technology. Its high employment demand and broad prospects make it one of the most competitive parts of STEM education. How should high school students cultivate engineering thinking and practical hands-on skills during their high school years? How can they produce personalized and high-quality personal achievements? ASDAN China has launched the CanSat Aerospace Engineering Design program, focusing on aerospace exploration to guide students in challenging themselves with a high-intensity real engineering innovation project. Within the smallest volume, students design and implement the main subsystems of a satellite platform, independently innovate satellite functions, use a launch vehicle to launch it into the sky to achieve the functional goals, and finally safely recover the satellite.

My interests and strengths make me more inclined to write engineering notes and conceptualize and plan tasks. I am interested in theoretical physics and mathematics and enjoy creating comprehensive engineering design plans. We encountered a sensor fault initially, and after replacing the entire payload board, new problems arose. The ground station also stopped working at night, and we needed to solve the problem of long-distance transmission of satellite signals. Each issue we solved led to the emergence of new ones. Fortunately, team members brainstormed solutions when facing these challenges, and teachers stayed with us to resolve problems late into the night. Finally, at nearly ten o'clock in the evening, we achieved stable long-distance transmission of signals and obtained the desired data. Despite continuous problems during the satellite production, the final result was excellent. Our satellite successfully transmitted data over a long distance, and our team won Best Group and Individual awards. This was a valuable experience.
