Energy Science & Engineering

Energy Engineering is a core engine driving global sustainable development. It encompasses not only the microscopic science of energy conversion and storage but also provides systematic solutions for building a clean, low-carbon, and efficient future society. This program focuses on cutting-edge technologies in energy science and engineering, aiming to help students build a cognitive framework that spans from fundamental material principles to macro-level system applications. Centered on sustainable energy, the program helps students establish a comprehensive understanding from basic principles to advanced technologies, and from laboratory R&D to industrial application. The curriculum deeply integrates energy science, materials engineering, and system design, covering frontier topics such as sustainable energy systems, electric vehicle technology, renewable energy, and large-scale energy storage, photovoltaic power generation, and hydropower technology. The program also includes visits to the PolyU campus and advanced laboratories, as well as trips to renowned Hong Kong technology enterprises, offering students close-up insights into the practical pathway of energy technologies from theoretical breakthroughs to engineering implementation and industrialization, systematically enhancing their innovative thinking in the energy field and their ability to solve complex engineering problems.

  • 2018年在香港科技大学获得机械工程博士学位,随后于同一学系从事博士后研究,在2021年加入香港理工大学之前,他曾担任香港科技大学机械及航空航天工程学系研究助理教授
