AER Capital Global Finance & Asset Management

According to UBS’s Global Wealth Report, the number of ultra-high-net-worth individuals in the Asia-Pacific region is projected to reach 123,000 by 2027, accounting for one-third of the global total. Within this, China is expected to represent 56%, demonstrating development potential surpassing that of Europe. This trend is driving a significant increase in demand for global asset allocation and investment. In response to this trend, ASEEDER, in partnership with AerCap, a Forbes-ranked Top 10 asset manager in the Family Office category, has designed a program focused on high-demand fields, including financial investment, business strategy, FinTech, and asset management. This program, designed for students passionate about finance and business a uniquely substantial, hands-on opportunity, featuring lectures from senior executives at leading institutions such as AerCap and Bank of Singapore (Hong Kong). Participants will engage with cutting-edge financial curricula covering macroeconomic data analysis, financial investment strategies, and financial risk management. Industry mentors will provide comprehensive insights into Hong Kong’s financial job market and emerging industry trends. Students will also tackle team-based challenges, including practical asset allocation simulations and commercial negotiation simulations. The program culminates in the design and presentation of a cross-border asset allocation proposal. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of participation issued by AerCap. The best individuals may also obtain recommendation letters signed by their mentors to enhance their university applications.

Will Xue

  • Will Xue is the Founder and CEO of Aer Capital. Xue has 10 years of global asset management experience, having managed several large family offices and multiple fund managers, with assets under management exceeding US$1 billion.

    • Harvey Wang

  • Harvey Wang holds a Master’s degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Harvey currently works in the Private Banking department of Bank of Singapore (Hong Kong) and previously served as a Manager in the Asset Management division of Credit Suisse.

    • William Chen

  • William Chen graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and currently works at Oxford Capital Partners (UK). He is a recipient of the 2019 Hurun Under30s Entrepreneurial Leaders award. He previously worked at Accenture Management Consulting and Expeditors International of Washington, and has interned at McKinsey & Company and NYSE-listed FXCM.
