UBTECH Humanoid Robotics Innovation Challenge
Amidst the wave of global technological revolution and industrial transformation, humanoid robots are transitioning from science fiction to reality. They have become a key track for reshaping the global industrial landscape and driving productivity leaps, following the new energy vehicle boom. Leading global enterprises like UBTECH, Boston Dynamics, and Tesla have already launched humanoid robot products for practical applications. Focusing on hot majors such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Engineering, and Robotics, ASEEDER partners with UBTECH, a global leader in humanoid robots and intelligent service robots, to launch the UBTECH Humanoid Robotics Innovation Challenge program. This program invites frontline engineers from UBTECH and industry mentors to co-teach, assisting students in mastering the theoretical foundations of AI robotics and engaging in practical challenges, including visual recognition and intelligent voice interaction. The program culminates in a robotics competition involving mechanical assembly and programming coding tasks. Upon completion, participants will receive a program certificate issued by UBTECH and a certificate in Careers and Experiencing Work Short Course accredited by UCAS. The best individuals may also obtain recommendation letters signed by their mentors.

UBTECH
Established in March 2012, UBTECH ROBOTICS CORP LTD is a leading humanoid robots and smart service robots company. Dedicated to the mission of 'bringing intelligent robots into every family, UETECH has developed a full stack of humanoid robotic technologies independently, including hardware control, AI, and Robot Operating System Application Framework (ROSA 2.0). UBTECH is also one of the few companies in the world to accomplish mass production of small-torque to large-torque servo actuators. Its self-developed Walker is the first commercialized biped life-sized humanoid robot in China. By June 2025, UBTECH holds more than 2790 robotic and AI-related patents, with nearly 58% being invention patents, making us the global leader in effective humanoid robot patents. On 29 December 2023, we were listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code: 9880.HK), and have become the first humanoid robot company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Focusing on three scenarios: industrial manufacturing, commercial services, and household companionship, UBTECH began the mass production and delivery of Walker S2 in November 2025. UBTECH has developed smart robotic solutions that integrate with hardware, software, service, and content. These solutions span various industries such as AI education, smart logistics, smart elderly care, business, and consumer service. With an unwavering commitment to innovations and technology, UBTECH envisages bringing UBTECH robots to every home and industry, marching towards a society where humans and robots co-exist.
