CESIM Global Business Training
CESIM Company was founded in Finland in 1996. Nearly half of the world's TOP50 business schools on the QS list,including Harvard Business School, University of Pennsylvania Wharton School, use the CESIM business simulationsystem for teaching. It is also used for internal management training in the world's top 500 enterprises.
CESIM Global Challenge Project involves international business management, international strategic management, marketing,financial management. Students will simulate running a global company and making a comprehensive development strategy and a regional strategy in the global environment to improve operations.

CESIM is the most widely used simulation course platform in universities globally, integrating teaching and research. Founded in Finland in 1996, it covers over a hundred countries worldwide. In the QS ranking, nearly half of the top 50 business schools globally use the CESIM, accompanied by corresponding textbooks for teaching, such as Harvard Business School, the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, Imperial College London, and IMD Business School in Switzerland. In China, CESIM has been introduced into top universities such as Tsinghua University and Renmin University of China and is used for internal management training in Fortune Global 500 central enterprises.
The core of the CESIM Global Business Training program is a highly sophisticated computer dynamic simulation system. Participants typically work in teams and make decisions for their virtual companies each quarter based on modern enterprise management knowledge, competing with other companies in the same market. Decisions involve various aspects of business operations, including production, research and development, marketing, human resources, investment, and finance, and consist of dozens of parameters. The aim is to simulate as closely as possible the real operating conditions of a company under market economy conditions. The decisions of each company are processed by the software system, resulting in a "Management Report" that reflects market effects. Through nine cycles, the company with the highest stock market price at the end wins.

I enjoyed every aspect of the decision-making process, especially the marketing segment. No market can resist the allure of low prices, but there are also many potential variables. We implemented different marketing strategies in various markets. For instance, in Europe, low prices can negatively impact sales, while in the United States, sales of new products are heavily influenced by advertising. We calculated the appropriate advertising prices to maximize profits by employing linear optimization. Asia is highly price-sensitive, where lower prices can lead to significant sales. In contrast, the European market has specific requirements for product features, especially for high-end products requiring more features.
